  • ND (Doctor of Naturopathy), Bastyr University, Seattle, WA
  • AFMCP course in Functional Medicine
  • DAN! (Defeat Autism Now!) approach to children on the autistic spectrum

Using the principles of naturopathic medicine, Dr. Knight assists his patients with their health care concerns by identifying and removing factors that have led to whatever underlying dysfunction they may have. He also helps patients to create an environment that restores the foundations of health and fosters the body’s innate ability to heal itself. By educating his patients, he empowers them to be partners in their own care and guides them along their journey towards optimal health.

Dr. Knight has a special interest in Environmental medicine, looking at the negative influence of everyday toxic exposure to common chemicals and pollutants on health. He helps patients to determine how they can decrease their exposure to toxins in order to minimize their detrimental effects on our health. As a DAN! doctor, he looks at how the interaction of biochemical individuality and toxic exposure may underlie the current autism pandemic, and assists parents and their children in determining appropriate treatments.

In his practice Dr. Knight combines diet and lifestyle modification, nutritional supplementation, botanical medicine, detoxification, mind-body medicine, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and physical medicine techniques, always striving to use the least invasive methods while respecting and working with the vis medicatrix naturae (The healing power of nature).

Dr. Knight’s practice includes:

  • Naturopathic Medicine
