Our practitioners who work with nutritional and lifestyle counseling know that in order to change how we care for our bodies we all need support, motivation, good evidence, and choices that focus on pleasure and satisfaction.

Lightbearer Mentoring Program - for men and women
Susan Fekety, MSN, CNM

With the Lightbearer Health Mentoring Program, you and an experienced nurse “coach” work together to help you achieve your goals – whatever they happen to be. You’ll learn self-care techniques, how to assess sources of support, how to shine a light on obstacles and relapsing habits – and generally cut a new groove in your mental record. The pace is up to you – we’ll focus on your personal preferences, strengths, and areas for growth as we craft your personalized plan. You can choose a one-time consultation visit to address your specific needs and questions or purchase an account of 2 hours time for $200 to spend however you wish over the next six months.

Nutritional Consultations for Cancer Patients
Joe Semmes, MD

Cancer patients who desire to augment their traditional cancer treatments with supplements and/or who wish to learn more about proven nutritional interventions in regard to cancer treatment, will benefit from a consultation with Dr. Joe Semmes. Inspired by his own experience with cancer, Dr. Semmes has become an expert on the scientific evidence available regarding the impact of nutrition and supplements on cancer.

Diets for Children with Special Needs such as Downs Syndrome, Autism and Asperger’s Syndrome
Peter Knight, ND

Children who have Downs Syndrome, Autism, or Asperger’s Syndrome may benefit greatly from modifications in their diets. Dr. Knight provides guidance and counseling on how to modify your child’s diet.

FirstLine Therapy® – for men and women
Susan Fekety, MSN, CNM

FirstLine Therapy® (FLT) is a clinically-proven 12 week program, for men and women that can be customized to fit your unique needs and preferences. Our FirstLine Therapy® practitioner will work intensively with you to develop a prescription for nutrition and activity based on your current health status and goals.
