Jennifer Lunden is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) and a Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS). Known as Lunden to clients, colleagues and friends, found her own healing journey was launched in earnest in 1989 when she contracted chronic fatigue syndrome, which progressed into multiple chemical sensitivity. She has come to believe that illness and imbalance arise out of a complex amalgam of biological, psychological, social and spiritual factors, and that treatment is most effective when it addresses the whole person.

Lunden believes that good therapy is a dynamic collaboration built on authentic relationship, and that our stories and our creativity have the power to heal us. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of New England in 2002 and she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Southern Maine. In 2008 she opened her private practice, the Center for Creative Healing, where she offers both individual counseling and therapeutic life-story writing and storytelling groups. Her dedication to personal and professional growth ensures fresh, innovative, and effective client work. Currently, Lunden offers a 6-week therapeutic storytelling and life-story writing group for people struggling with chronic and/or disabling illnesses. A writer and musician, owned by two cats and a Great Dane, Lunden also believes that sometimes laugher really is the best medicine.

True North Affiliates
True North Affiliates are practitioners who are credentialed using the same high standards as all True North practitioners. They participate in circle process and in True North’s outcomes-based research program. Affiliates practice at an off-site location and schedule and bill for their own appointments.
