JASMINA J. AGRILLO is a stress management consultant/coach, a Licensed HeartMath® Provider of scientifically validated heart based stress management techniques and technology. She received her licensing and training at the Institute of HeartMath in Boulder Creek, Ca. in 2002. Since then she has successfully been in private practice in the Portland area and a part time office in Brookline, Mass. Currently, she has associations through outpatient client referral with medical facilities in Southern Maine, individual health care practitioners, and the Boston Area Brain Injury Support group at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston.

MERET BAINBRIDGE, LAc is a licensed acupuncturist practicing acupuncture, acupressure and Chinese herbal medicine in Portland.

REV. MARYANNA BOCK, M. ED., LCSW is a visionary artist, spiritual counselor- coach and wise woman. Trained in art; clinical social work; the spiritual traditions of the East and West and by Native Elders, in Questing & Ceremony.  She has guided people for several years on the path of spiritual awakening. DR. MARY JO BULBROOK is a medical intuitive, gifted energy healer, psychotherapist and teacher with thirty years experience doing workshops around the world. She has worked with angels for over 15 years in her personal life. Mary Jo is the founder and director of the Transform Your Life through Energy Medicine program. Her grounded theory approach to research in partnership with traditional healers from South Africa, Australia, New Zealand and Peru has enriched our understanding of the healing process.

ANNE DELLENBAUGH, MTS, RYT has trained extensively in Yoga Nidra with Richard Miller, PhD, E-RYT500 and author of the book Yoga Nidra: The Meditative Heart of Yoga.  She is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher and a registered Counselor with a private practice in Brunswick. Anne brings over 30 years of meditation practice to her teaching of yoga as a spiritual practice that honors the body and reveals the soul.  Visit Anne at www.wildlotusyoga.us.

JEN DERASPE, MS - For over 8 years, Jen Deraspe, has been facilitating holistic retreats for women through weekend wellness workshops and holistic canoe trips. Jen is a certified Hatha yoga instructor, adjunct faculty member in the College of Nursing and Health Professions at the University of Southern Maine and is a graduate and staff of Byron Katie’s School for The Work. Jen owns Nurture Through Nature, a retreat center and guiding company in Denmark, Maine, where she blends mind~body~spirit experiences together with connections to our natural world for women, custom circles and individuals looking to fill their cup. JILL SPIEWAK ENG is a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique. She trained and taught in New York City before moving to Maine. She has taught at Central Maine Medical Center, Bates and Bowdoin College, several chiropractic centers and privately in Portland. Jill is also a professional modern dancer performer and teacher, has practiced meditation, and has two young children.

BETSEY FOSTER, MPH has taught Qigong and T’ai Chi for 13 years and teaches at health centers and hospitals in Maine. She writes and presents on these topics and specializes in the health benefits of these arts. She is director of T’ai Chi and Qigong for All.

CAROL JENKINS, MA, CRS is a retired Certified Rubenfeld Synergist who has had a practice in Portland since 1991. She studied with Ilana Rubenfeld for six years, both as student and student teacher. She has also studied the Whole Person Fertility Program with Niravi Payne and loves working with couples having difficulty accessing their fertility.

LARRY IRA LANDAU has been the owner and director of Dragonfly Taijiquan, LLC in Portland, ME since 1997.  However, Larry has been a student, practitioner, and master teacher of Chinese healing movement since 1977.

MICHELE LOWRY is a Reiki Master and is Certified in Equine Acupressure. She has been studying nutrition and its effects on the body for almost a decade. 

MARTHA J. MALANA, MA, ATR-BC, LCAT is a registered, board certified art therapist and licensed creative arts therapist who practices in New York and received her masters in counseling psychology and art therapy from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in Chicago.  She received her undergraduate degree in art therapy from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Martha has presented to doctors, nurses and medical residents on the use of art therapy and has worked in teaching hospitals and mental health centers over the past ten years. She looks forward to returning to Maine to share this work.

HANNAH MARIS, MS is a Registered Maine Guide who’s been leading vision quests and retreats for 15 years. She is also a singer/songwriter, activist, comic, and mother of two young children. She is intimately acquainted with body image/eating issues and has been in recovery from more addictions than she cares to count for over two decades.

CAROLYN MEGAN is certified to teach Hatha Yoga and continues her studies in the Anusara and Iyengar traditions. She teaches at studios in the Portland area and works privately with students to address physical and therapeutic challenges. As a writer, Carolyn is interested in the stories and memories that the body holds and how yoga and yoga therapeutics allow each person to tap into these narratives to arrive to a more peaceful and centered place.

WALTER R. SELENS, LMT, CIMI began as a body-worker in 1988, became nationally certified as a massage therapist and as an infant massage instructor in 1993. A father of two, Walter massages his children regularly and loves sharing his knowledge with other parents.

TONY SHUTTLEWORTH is a native New Zealander who has traveled, worked and studied extensively throughout the world and among indigenous cultures. Having worked for years with spaces in carpentry, landscaping, draughtsman design, feng shui, dowsing and now working as a subtle energy consultant and international educator, Tony offers a practical and compassionate approach to refining energetic disturbances in the environment and the self.

LYNNE SPUGNARDI is a certified STOTT PILATES instructor with over 14 years of experience in the fitness industry. Lynne taught various group exercise classes such as step, sculpt and tone and interval training before discovering her passion for pilates in 2001, and the benefits it offers. STOTT PILATES is recognized as the most contemporary and comprehensive in the industry. Its exercises safely deliver optimal strength, flexibility and endurance, without adding bulk.

REV. JACOB WATSON, D. MIN is an interfaith minister and a graduate of the University of Creation Spirituality and is the Abbot and a senior faculty member of the Chaplaincy Institute of Maine.

RACHEL WEINSTEIN, MA, LCPC-C has a master’s degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, Boulder, Colorado. She combines cognitive therapy with contemplative psychotherapy which uses Buddhist concepts of mindfulness, compassion, and acceptance. She has a private practice in Portland in the Ballard House where she works with women dealing with mental health issues around pregnancy and any adults struggling with anxiety, depression and general life stressors and transitions. She has worked in the counseling and social service field since 2001.

LORA WINSLOW was True North’s first intern while she attended College of the Atlantic, and has worked here in many capacities since. Upon graduating, Lora founded The Naked Truth Project, a nonprofit resource center for nontoxic living.

BILLIE WOLF, OT is an Occupational Therapist on staff at Mercy Hospital.  With over twenty-eight years of experience in acute care settings, she also has many years of experience with energetic healing as a Reiki Master and is one of only four Quantum Touch practitioners in the United States. JEFF WOODWARD has taught thousands of people how to find their successful, personal approach to health, cooking and nutrition. Mr. Woodward has been studying food, cooking and nutrition for 25 years. Mary is passionate about learning, sharing and healing, both for herself and with others.  In addition to psychotherapy, she is trained in several forms of energy healing, including Therapeutic Touch, Healing Touch, Emotional Freedom Technique, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) and other mindfulness practices, Transformational Breath™, and Voice and Sound Healing. Cynthia is a Certified Energy Medicine Practitioner, Specialist, and Instructor. The first Certified Healing Touch Practitioner in Maine, she delights in teaching people to understand their own energy system and to manage their energy in a way that fosters their natural healing capacities for optimum health, joy, and vitality.

MARY FOGG, PHD & MAUREEN CALLNAN, APRN, BC
Mary Fogg, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist. She is trained in energy psychology and in breath and sound approaches to healing. She has been practicing and teaching mindfulness for several years. She works with individuals and teaches an innovative mindfulness-based group therapy program for people with recurrent depression and anxiety. Maureen Callnan, APRN, BC is an Advanced-Practice Registered Nurse trained in both traditional and complimentary approaches to healing. She personally lives and professionally teaches mindfulness practices in individual and group settings, including an innovative mindfulness-based group therapy program for people with recurrent depression and anxiety.

BETHANY HAYS, MD & JEFF WOODWARD
Jeff Woodward and Bethany Hays periodically team up on cooking classes. Jeff has taught thousands of people how to find their successful, personal approach to health, cooking and nutrition. He has studied food, cooking and nutrition for 25 years and his classes help people apply the dietary and nutritional suggestions recommended by their doctor. Bethany Hays, MD is a board-certified gynecologist and Functional Medicine trained physician who is the Medical Director of True North.

KATHRYN LANDON-MALONE, MSN, CPNP & CYNTHIA ATKINSON, CEMP/S/I, CHTP
Kathryn is a pediatric nurse practitioner with 30 years of experience in pediatric healthcare, mother of three and now grandmother. Her areas of expertise include holistic pediatric health and wellness, pediatric nutrition, pediatric hypnosis, and parenting. Cynthia is a Certified Energy Medicine Practitioner, Specialist, and Instructor.
