MBSR study

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is a group based clinical intervention, lead by Kristin Lombard MSN, APRN, BC. Before students begin classes in MBSR, they will be asked to complete a DYNA SF-36 health survey. At the completion of the course, the students will then be asked to repeat the DYNA a second time. Approximately 3 months later the students will be asked to take a third DYNA. This data will be collected and the scores on the DYNA will be examined. We are interested in seeing who, if any, of the students have continued to use what they have learned in the MBSR course, and what impact that has had on their health. DYNA scores will be charted and examined to determine the students self assessed progress. The results will be shared with all interested parties and will be assessed for possible publication.
